March 5 2016 - it is a good day to open the camper for the first time. Good weather which is not too chill and sunny. When I started to open the camper, I quickly spotted several problems. The chipmunk has been living inside the camper for the mild winter. I have already try to prep the camper before winter. I used a lot of dryer sheet (as recommended by fellow camper) to prevent critters from destroying the camper. Year 1, this method is good. This Year (year 2), I failed the task.
Here is a few pictures of the damages done by chipmunk.
I got 6 holes totally. 3 holes on the camper vinyl reinforced & 3 holes on the camper canvas.
In additional to the damages by chipmunk, I also found out the power converter is not working. The light flick and converter is beeping. Sounds like a faulty circuit. The power converter is Exilir EXL-25, which no longer in production. After google, I found a replacement parts WFCO WF8725P. The cost to replace the converter is about $100.
I got more spring tasks to fix up the camper before summer camping trip.
