This is our 2017 Winter Break Vacation at Walt Disney World in FL. Due to time limitation and travel cost, we opt for driving. The drive is about 1300+ miles each way and took us roughly 21 hrs.
A little background of the Chin family. I grew up with lots of influence by Disney. All 3 kids grew up with Disney influence. During the birth of our 2nd kid, we purchased a timeshare offering by Disney. Disney Vacation Club is name of the timeshare offering. I'm a DVC member since 2005. Since owning the timeshare, we have travelled to FL almost every year. Now, we are trying to travel once every 2 years. Not trying to sell anything because timeshare lifestyle is not for everyone. It might not save you money in long run. But for us, the ownership has save us $$$ during our visit. I just like to share our experience.
As usual, I preferred outdoor camping. But winter camping is harsh for young kids. This vacation getaway is special especially after developing cabin fever from all the snow.
I'm ready for Spring and Summer. Looking forward for another great camping year.
