2016 Summer Camping Trip Expense Analysis

With every trip, I usually keep the expenses record to justify spending and also finding saving in our future trip.  For 2016 Summer Camping trip to Canada (PEI, NS & NL), here is the overall spending.

Total for Fuel  :  $164.49 in US & C$1134.20 in Canada.  Converting Canada to US using 0.78 rate, total cost for fuel is $1049.17

Total for Camping :  C$504.30.  ~ US $394

Total for Toll :  $25.60 in US &  C$64.50 in Canada   ~ Total US$ 76

Total cost for Ferry to NL : C$948.32  Round Trip for Vehicle, trailer & passenger.  ~ US $740

Park Canada Discovery Pass : C$136.40  Valid to all National Park & National Historic Sites.  ~ US$106.50

Western Brook Pond Tour in Gros Morne National Park : C$188.00  ~  US $147

Food cost is TBD.  We mostly cook on campground.  We have only have 3-4 take out meal and shop 4 times at Walmart/Grocery/Market/COOP.
