It's confirmed. We will be visiting iceland and do a ring road tour using campervan. This trip has been postponed for 2 years (April 2020). We are now prepping for our upcoming trip. We will be renting a campervan in iceland and will tour the ring road.
Our preliminary route is being planned.
This is a 8 days around the island tour visiting all/some of the POI. We are very excited to finally able to experience the beauty of the land of fire and ice.
On Feb 25, iceland border is open to all tourist regards vaccination status. There is no requirement for any covid test prior to enter the country. The travel restriction that was enforced since April 2020 is lifted.
On April 1, new changes also implement in iceland. Previously free covid test for travel will no longer available. Traveller will faced a requirement to do a Antigen covid test on your own dime. The cost is about 7000 kr per person.
After our trip, I will do a breakdown of our cost to visit Iceland and also try to write our journey through iceland. Stay tuned for more update.
