There is a few epic camping spot (BOLD) on my solo trip in 2021. Here is the list of camping spot during my trip.
- Bueno Aires 1, Big Bend National Park - Primitive campsite in Big Bend National Park. This is a first come first serve camp site. You will need a permit from ranger to camp here. $10 per night. This camp spot is near Rio Grande River and it's a stone throw away from Mexico Border. I stayed here for 1 night.
- Baca Campground, Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico. Free campground with vault toilet for stay up to 14 days. I stayed here for 1 night.
- Rio Grande Valley Overlook in Creede CO. Found this camp spot on iOverlander.com. This spot located off Forest Road in Rio Grande National Forest. It's free and you can stay up to 14 days. This area has a great vista view of the Rio Grande Valley. I stayed here for 1 night.
- Amphitheater Campground in Ouray CO. Paid campground near Ouray CO. Advance reservation or FCFS camping available. $24 per night. Very close to town and hiking trail. Has a 270 view of the town, Ouray. I advanced book my reservation early and I stayed here for 4 nights.
- Country Road 33 in Silverton CO. Recommended by friends. This is within BLM land near Deer Park creek. I stayed here for 1 night.

- Willows Spring Road in Moab UT. Found this camp spot on iOverlander.com. This is BLM free dispersed camping spot near Moab UT. Primitive camp spot with portable toilet throughout the BLM area. Bureau of Land Management will allow up to 14 days free camping. I stayed here for 1 night.
- Gemini Bridge in Moab UT. Found a flat area within the BLM land on Gemini Bridge Trail. This is a 4x4 trail near Canyonland National Park. 4x4 vehicle preferred to access the area. I stayed here for 1 night.
- Sheep Creek Road in Spanish Fork UT. Found this camp spot on iOverlander.com. This spot is located within the forest road in Uinta-Wasatch-cache National Forest. There is a few spot for camping in this area. We drive up the road onto higher elevation and found a spot with a good 270 vista view of the valley. I stayed here for 1 night.
- Bridger-Teton National Forest. Found this vista view of Grand Teton camp spot within Bridger- Teton National Forest on iOverlander.com. This dispersed camping spot allow up to 5 days free camping. I stayed here for 1 night.
