May 22-25 2015. On Memorial holiday long weekend, we setup our first camping trip for 2015. With several friends & families, we head up to Acadia National Park in Maine. The drive from MA to ME is about 6 hours.

May 22. MA - ME. After packed up, we left around 10am. After 10 miles in the journey, an incident happen. My tow vehicle, Honda Pilot, back windows shattered.

A metal object on I-95 (near Reading MA) hit the back window. Glass shattered and we stopped on the next exit.

| Ducktape to the rescue |
Using ducktape, I hold the shattered glass together and head back home. Many layer of duct tape applied both outside and inside the window. The duck tape hold well and I'm able to drive the vehicle back home with no problem.

| Once home, we switch vehicle and hook the camper. |
The orginal 6 hrs trip become a 8 hrs trip due to minor incident. We managed to reach Bar Harbor, ME around 5pm. Original plan change a bit due to late arrival. We settle down at our campsite and setup the camper. Our campsite is next to a rocky beach. After settling, we setup campfire and cook dinner.
